I'm in Nashville this weekend for my first Teach Them Diligently convention! So far, I'm having a blast! A BUNCH of ladies from my CC campus are here, so that's pretty awesome, too!
Here are some pictures from my first day:
This hotel check-in line looks pretty long, but it actually moved very quickly.
Inside the Opryland Hotel!
After checking in, I walked around for a while, enjoyed some frozen yogurt (all by myself! Oh, the blessed quietness!), then I met some new friends while waiting for the Exhibit Hall to open at 6 p.m.
Exhibit Hall time!
Here are some shots of the Classical Conversations store:
They'll be doing some small seminars throughout the weekend in the Exhibit Hall.
You can get all your new Cycle 3 resources here. There's not a discount, but the Trivium Tables are still on sale, and there's no tax.
After checking out the CC area, I said hello to my friend, Jo Hendricks, at her Mega Verses booth! It was so neat to meet her in real life after talking with her over email for so long. She's such a sweet mama, and she'll be tutoring her son's Challenge class next year. Way to go, Jo! Mega Verses is passionate about helping families memorize Scripture together and sells CDs with verses put to good music. Mary and I love to listen to their Ephesians 6 song! If you're in Nashville this weekend, check out their booth; if you can't make it, click here to visit their website!
That's all for Day 1 of Teach Them Diligently 2014 in Nashville. Check back tomorrow night for another update!
